The performance characteristics of the cable packer

Fewer parts: It is specially designed for use with electric submersible pumps, rather than a double-tube production packer. It has a simple design and reduces many parts, which can be easily recycled and repaired.

Easy to set and unseal: hydraulic setting, lift up and cut off the pin to unseal.

The design is simple and compact: its length (less than 3 feet) makes it easy to run in. Reliable use can be guaranteed where there are difficulties in using a longer packer.

Separate gas discharge pipe: No need to discharge gas from the primary and secondary pipe strings.

Optional passage through the packer.

There is no relative movement between the tubing and the cable: the cable strain is eliminated.

Two-way, integral slips: No hydraulic control is required. The upper and lower cones make the slips anchor the casing wall and bear the load in both directions.

Two-way pressure bearing: When the pressure increases from the upper and lower directions, the sealing element is better sealed and the slips anchored more firmly.
